Max, a rambunctious and sensitive boy feels misunderstood at home and escapes to where the Wild Things are. He lands on an island where he meets mysterious and strange creatures whose emotions are as wild and unpredictable as their actions. The Wild Things desperately long for a leader to guide them, just as Max longs for a kingdom to rule. When Max is crowned king, he promises to create a place where everyone will be happy. Max soon finds, though, that ruling his kingdom is not so easy and his relationships there prove to be more complicated than he originally thought. The movie is rated PG and is directed at kids, but is also much more serious than your normal kids movie.

Saw VI

This is another extension of the saw series, and will prove to be just as exciting. The trailers refuse to give out any information about what will happen in this next movie, which allows the fans to enter the movie not knowing what they are getting into.
Astro Boy

A diminutive robot with incredible powers, super strength, and the purest spirit on the planet discovers the joys of being human while embarking on a worldwide journey to discover his true potential in this animated update of Osamu Tazuka's classic anime story. Astro Boy is a young robot from futuristic Metro City. Created by a brilliant scientist named Tenma, and powered by pure positive "blue" energy that gives him such abilities as x-ray vision, inhuman speed, and flight, the wide-eyed android longs to find his true place in the world. He sets out on an epic journey that brings him face to face with an underworld army of robo
ts and some of the strangest creatures ever to walk the Earth, and along the way learns to experience human feelings and emotions. Astro Boy's remarkable mission of discovery is suddenly cut short, however, when he learns that his friends and family back in Metro City are in grave danger. As Astro Boy prepares to face off against his greatest adversary in order to save everything he cares most about, he realizes that only through victory will he finally discover what it takes to be a hero.
Good blog and posts, interesting to see what movies are at the top and bottom. I heard Paranormal Activity was really scary, I might want to see that. I also would like to see Saw VI. I have seen the all the previous ones, and in my opinion my favorite is Saw I. Nice blog, a lot of information that I found easy to read. Good job.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really cool blog that gets right to the point of the most popular movies. Short and simple! I think it would be interesting to see your rating based upon the trailers of the movies (probably since it would be too much time/money to go see all of them in theaters). I also think the black background fits well with the theme.
