Disney's A Christmas Carol

This is Disney's new version of the classic Scrooge story. Much more Directed at children, with Disney's state of the art animation. In the movie Ebenezer Scrooge begins the Christmas holiday with his usual miserly contempt, barking at his faithful clerk and his cheery nephew. But when the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come take him on an eye-opening journey revealing truths Old Scrooge is reluctant to face, he must open his heart to undo years of ill will before it's too late. This is really a fun, family version of the classic Scrooge story that all in the family will love.

Pirate Radio


In the 1960s this group of rougue DJs, on a boat in the middle of the Northern Atlantic, played rock records and broke the law all for the love of music. The songs they played united and defined an entire generation and drove the British government crazy. By playing Rock n Roll they were standing up against the British government who did everything in their power to shut them down. The band of rebels is lead by The Count, played by the Academy Award Winning Philip Seymour Hoffman, Quentin the boss of Radio Rock, Gavin the greatest DJ in Britian, Midnight Mark, Doctor Dave and Young Carl who comes of age amidst the chaos of sex, drugs and rock n roll.

Where the Wild Things Are

Max, a rambunctious and sensitive boy feels misunderstood at home and escapes to where the Wild Things are. He lands on an island where he meets mysterious and strange creatures whose emotions are as wild and unpredictable as their actions. The Wild Things desperately long for a leader to guide them, just as Max longs for a kingdom to rule. When Max is crowned king, he promises to create a place where everyone will be happy. Max soon finds, though, that ruling his kingdom is not so easy and his relationships there prove to be more complicated than he originally thought. The movie is rated PG and is directed at kids, but is also much more serious than your normal kids movie.

Astro Boy

Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs:

In this fun filled family comedy, a local unsuccessful inventor, Flint Rockwood could never catch a break. However he came up with an invention to change water to food, and knew he would be able to save his town from eating only sardines. But when the machine takes flight into the sky, he believes he is done inventing after many failed attepmts. One day a enormous multi-colored clowd rolls ove the town and begins raining hamburgers. Flint Becomes the local heroe, something he had only dreamed of. Soon the food became overwhelming, and grew to enourmous portions. Flint realizes that his creation is out of control, and it is up to him to stop it. It is a great 3D family comedy that people of all ages will love.

   This tale of two astronauts who realize that they aren't alone as they drift into the 
darkest corners of our galaxy. Awakening in their hyper-sleep chamber with no memory of who they are or what their mission is, disoriented astronauts Lt. Payton and Corporal Bower gradually surmise that they are the only ones aboard the darkened spacecraft. But how did they get here, and what are those strange sounds coming from the belly of the ship? The only way out of their hyper-sleep chamber is a narrow airshaft, and the only one small enough to climb through it is Corporal Bower. As the younger of the two space travelers shimmies inside, the older remains behind to offer guidance on the radio transmitter. But the deeper Corporal Bower ventures into the ship, the more apparent it becomes that something horrible has happened. Could it be that the survival of the entire human race rests in the hands of these two astronauts stuck on a lonely ship in deep space?  

Surrogates
          
         Bruce Willis stars as an FBI agent who enlists the aid of his own surrogate to investigate the murder of the genius college student who invented the surrogates. As the case grows more complicated, however, the withdrawn detective discovers that in order to actually catch the killer he will have to venture outside the safety of his own home for the first time in many years, and enlists the aid of another agent in tracking his target down. Jonathan Mostow directs co-screenwriters Michael Ferris and John Brancato's adaptation of the graphic novel by author Robert Venditti and illustrator Brett Weldele.
